This Week Jun 26th– Jun 30th

Did you know? Cobs Bread in Willowbrook Mall donates to our breakfast club and gives 5% back to the school for any purchases made in store. So if you shop at Cobs or know someone who does, please mention Langley Meadows Elementary at the time of purchase to help the school claim these funds!

Some Notes from Ms Jaggi:

Parking Lot

A reminder that the staff parking lot is for staff. There has been an influx of parents parking there in the morning and at the end of the day. Recently people have also been parking in the lot behind staff members cars and then getting out to pick up their children. Many of our support staff are finished work at the dismissal bell and are being trapped in the lot and not able to leave. Please remember that this lot is for staff only. We appreciate your consideration.

Weather Concerns:

The sunny weather has finally arrived! Yippee! Please ensure students have hats, sunscreen and appropriate footwear. Bark mulch and flip flops to not go together. Slivers in your toes really hurt!

Moving?

If you are moving and will not be with LMCS in September, please contact Ms Young in the office to let us know. This information allows us to move forward with accurate student numbers as we create classes this Spring for the next school year.

School Supply Orders!

Pets

Please be aware that if you are bringing a dog onto the school property that you need to be able to control that dog around other pets and children. Often we feel our pets are friendly, which I’m sure they are, but pets can react differently when the school bell rings and 450 kids come running onto the playground. Please ensure they are on a leash and within your control.

Thank you for your generosity in the collection of goods for our new family who just arrived in Canada. Your show of caring has been amazing, clothing, gift cards and more have filled our foyer.
